The paper addresses the issue many librarians have with collaborative teaching when they cannot get to know their students. THe author encourages librarians to make an effort to learn about their students Building relationships will foster a love of the library in students and aid librarians in meeting student needs. Also, it encourages librarians to reach out to teachers since teachers will have a better knowledge on student personalities from constant interaction.
