This article talks about the 21st century learning commons or a space previously know as the library. The library now incorporates research, a place for projects and support from specialists for special services such as computer graphics. The atmosphere is more relaxed with flexible seating arrangements, makerspace equipment as well as video and screening rooms. 

This article was short and to the point. It was my first exposure to how a school library can be transformed. Since then I have transformed my school library to a learning commons area. Something the district and had never seen or heard of before.
